Shortly about the Synod

The Synod of the Evangelical Churches of the Augsburg Confession is a supra-church community of Lutheran communities, called upon to recreate Russian Lutheranism in Russia and in other countries of the World.

Our Synod adheres to the original creed, which was developed by Dr. Martin Luther, without distortion and without any changes. The Synod can act as a mentor and a beacon in the purity of the dogma of the reformed Church, living according to the Augsburg Confession.

Membership in the Synod is completely voluntary. We are glad to accept Lutheran congregations from any country!
